Rockabilly Rave, continued...Friday!

I had so much fun...I almost don't know what to write. I think I will just show the rest of the Rave in photos. The all night dancing, the musicians you would never see on stage together jamming in chalets, the parties, the people...AND THE MUSIC.

Friday, Frannie and I went into Rye to do a little grocery shopping and hit a bank ATM that would work with my American ATM. What a quaint little beach town!

We arrived back at the Rave, had a little food (I need to thank Laura for preparing us breakfast that day! She was the resident cook and we took turns doing dishes) and got ready for the evening.

I needed to get ready quick, because I did not want to miss Charlie Hightone and the Rockits from Spain. I saw them at the US Rockabilly Rave in 2009, and knew they put on a good show and are a great band. I wore my bull fighting skirt since they are from Spain.

Next up, Pat Capocci from Australia. He was really good and Miss Mary Ann got up and sang a song with him.

There were great DJs, dancing and shannanigans going on between the bands!

Next amazing band up was the Modern Don Juans...I swear, Bobby Trimble can do no wrong when it comes to choosing bands. I don't think he has ever played in a bad band.

Last band of the night was the Caezars. I still love these guys and love their youthful energy on stage, but the buzz around afterwards, was that some of the banter AJ was giving from stage upset a lot of the older crowd. They weren't keen on being called names because they weren't pushing their way to the front. That's all I will say on that, because I still see them as a band that will go places. Off stage all of them are very sweet and I am enjoying watching them evolve and grow.

I was up until about 7:30 AM, dancing at the record hops, of course. I didn't take any photos of the dancing that night...I did get tagged in one...you can see me in the corner. I am pretty sure we were bopping. I got more photos Saturday night/Sunday Morning.
